Our Sunday Visitor was founded in 1912 and seeks through its periodicals, books, programs, and offertory envelopes to:

• serve the Church by forthrightly communicating the Gospel of Jesus Christ
• proclaim and defend the mission of the Church in contemporary society
• support the teachings of the Church as proclaimed by the Holy Father and the Bishops
  build up within the Catholic community an essential Catholic unity and identity
• and encourage a clear understanding of Church teachings, a solid spirituality, a strong Catholic moral perspective, an appreciation of the centrality of the Faith in daily life, and the ability to view the world through the eyes of Faith.
